Meetings

Council meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Municipal Office, 21 Queen Street, Ripley. They shall take place on the first and third Monday of every month, unless it falls on a Statutory Holiday, in such case it will be on Wednesday. Meetings are held at 7:00 pm., except for the first meeting during the months of January, February and March, which are held at 9:00 am.

Planning Meetings or Committee of Adjustment meetings will be held the fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers unless it falls on a Statutory Holiday in such case it will be on Wednesday.

If you wish to present information or make a request of Council, please notify the Clerk no later than 1:00 pm in the afternoon on the Thursday of the week preceeding the day of the meeting in order that your delegation may be placed on the agenda.

The Council and any committee shall go into a Closed Session if the subject matter is one under the Municipal Act 2001, C. 25 Section 239(2):
