2019-2020 Community Well-Being Program opens March 1st 2019

The Deadline to apply for the 2019-2020 Community Well-Being Program (CWBP) is June 1st 2019. The CWBP committee will review all applications in June, applicants will be notified of their applications status as soon as possible. Please note that applications for projects that take place prior to June 1st will not be considered and applications from 2018-2019 funding recipients that did not complete their final reporting will not be considered. 

The Township of Huron-Kinloss established a Community Well-Being Program that was approved by Council on May 23rd 2018. The Community Well-Being Program is designed to assist Community Organizations access funds for programs and services offered in Huron-Kinloss to Huron-Kinloss residents. The Community Well-Being Program is made possible through the Exploring Partnerships and Community Well-Being partnership program through the NWMO, as Huron-Kinloss is continuing to learn more about Canada’s Plan for Used Nuclear Fuel.

The Community Well-Being Program was developed to allow Huron-Kinloss community groups and organizations to access funds for their programs and services. Eligible projects will support one of the five funding streams: Arts, Culture & Heritage; Sports & Recreation; Social & Health; Environmental; and Other.
