NWMO Learn More Centre
The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) opened a Learn More Centre in Ripley, making it easier for local residents to learn more about Canada's plan for the long-term management of used nuclear fuel called the Adaptive Phased Management project. NWMO staff are available to answer questions, explain hands-on displays and provide more information about Canada's plan.

This NWMO Community Profile has been prepared as part of the Township of Huron-Kinloss' participation in the Nuclear Waste Management Organization's (NWMO) Learn More Program.The document brings together information about Huron-Kinloss, it's history, aspirations and current conditions. This information can be a helpful starting point for community discussions about how future projects might be implemented in the community, and the extent to which a project might contribute to the well-being of the community over the long-term.
