Business Retention & Expansion
We are preparing to implement a Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) project in the Township. BR+E involves conducting surveys with local business owners to identify the businesses' needs, concerns, and criticisms about the community. BR+E promotes job growth by helping communities learn about issues and concerns of, as well as opportunities for, local businesses and set priorities for projects to address these needs.
We are currently seeking volunteers from the business community to participate in the BR+E surveys and/or join the BR+E Task Force. The BR+E Task Force is responsible for deciding what content to include in the surveys, assisting with analyzing data and identifying actions (approximate total time commitment is 20 hours). Please contact Taralyn Martin at tmartin@huronkinloss.com if you are interested in volunteering your time to be a part of this project.
