Wastewater

The villages of Lucknow and Ripley are serviced by a sanitary sewer system.  Both systems achieve treatment through the use of waste stabilization ponds aerated lagoons and rapid infiltration basins.

If you are planning landscaping improvements to your property, please contact Veolia Water Canada at 519-524-6583 to make arrangements for water and sewer locates.  24 to 48 hours notice is required.

By-Law 2002-108, Huron-Kinloss Sewer Use By-law prohibits the connection of building foundation drains, sump pumps, eaves troughs and/or any other device into municipal sanitary sewers.
