The Huron-Kinloss Community Services Department is hosting a Community Stakeholders meeting Wednesday, June 14th at 7:00 p.m. at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre. Lawn Watering and Car Wash Ban - Users of the Lakeshore Municipal Drinking Water System

Effective immediately, the Township of Huron-Kinloss has issued a lawn watering and car washing ban for all users of the Lakeshore Municipal Drinking Water System.
The area affected spans from Amberley Beach Road in the south to Saratoga Road in the north; the Lake Huron shoreline in the west to Lake Range Drive in the east. This also includes users on the Ashfield-Huron Boundary Road to the Amberley General Store and users in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh on Amberley Beach Road.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss, Fire and Emergency Services has declared a partial open-air fire ban.
This ban applies to all Open-Air Fires for all Fire Department jurisdictions within the Township of Huron-Kinloss. All Annual and Special Exemption Fire Permits are suspended until further notice.

OPEN AIR FIRE BANRIPLEY, ON – The Township of Huron-Kinloss, Fire and Emergency Services has declared a partial open-air fire ban due to and extreme fire danger rating within the province, a lack of rainfall and forecasted hot dry conditions.
