Gain life changing experience learning a new skill for free!

The Township of Huron-Kinloss has partnered with Bruce County, Fanshawe College, VPI Working Solutions, the UBC Local 2222 Carpenter's Union, Employment Ontario, the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario to offer Women in Construction, a program created to introduce women to the trades. 

There are no pre-requisites; however, grade 10 English and math is recommended.

Yard Waste Depots Now Open for Season

The Huron-Kinloss Yard Waste Depots are now OPEN for the season!

There are sites located at:
  • Huron Yard Waste Depot: just east of the landfill at 2083 Concession 6 E.
  • Lucknow Yard Waste Depot: 907 Havelock St. just south of the soccer fields.
Both sites are open seasonally starting Saturday April 15 to mid-November, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These depots are for grass️, leaves, brush, and small branches. No logs or stumps, household garbage, plastic bags, or construction material permitted.

Huron-Kinloss 2023 Tree Sale

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is holding its 2023 Spring Maple Tree Sale.  The trees will be 3-5’ high potted saplings available in Native Red Maple and Sugar Maple. Trees will be sold for $50/tree including tax. Limited quantities available.

Trees order date: starting Friday April 14th

Residents who have been selected to participate in the Township of Huron-Kinloss FoodCycler Pilot Program will have received an email to pay for their FoodCycler device.

This email may have ended up in your junk folder, so please check to see if you have received one.
