Residents and visitors of Huron-Kinloss and Point Clark, we need your help!
The Point Clark Lighthouse Museum is in need of some upgrades as we look forward to welcoming visitors back in June 2022. We recently hired a consulting company to develop a Revitalization Plan for the Lighthouse Museum and require funding to implement this Plan.
The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group have accepted our Point Clark Lighthouse Museum Revitalization Project application for consideration for a L.E.A.F grant....

Communications strategy and action plan receives Council approval

One of our key projects for 2021 was the development of a communications strategy and action plan. We wanted to do an extensive review of how we communicate with our residents and property owners to learn where the gaps are and how we can improve.

2021 Leaf Collection Update

The Leaf collection for the Lakeshore area has been delayed until Monday November 8th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

 Reminder:

Leaves are to be bagged in paper bags only and brought to the curb by 7:00 a.m. the day of collection. Also, bags must not weigh more than 11 kg (25 lbs.) and contain leaves only.

Each street will only be done once.

Inclement weather may delay collection to avoid wet and heavy paper bags.

Leaves are accepted at free of charge at the Huron Landfill site year-round....

Fall Hydrant Flushing – Lucknow and Ripley Water Systems

The hydrants in the Lucknow Water System will be flushed starting Monday November 15th, with an expected completion date of Friday November 26th. The hydrants in the Ripley Water System will be flushed starting Monday November 22nd, with an expected completed date of Friday November 26th.
