The Bruce County Public Works Association is offering a scholarship, valued at $1,000, to be presented to an outstanding student in Bruce County enrolled in a program related to public works.

Draft Trailer By-Law Public Consultation

At the July 4th, 2022 Council meeting, Staff was directed to gather feedback from the public about the draft trailer by-law. The draft trailer by-law was created using the existing regulations in the comprehensive zoning by-law and some additions were made based on complaints received to our By-Law Enforcement Officer (derelict trailers and large gatherings of camper trailers).

July 11th, 2022 - Committee of Adjustment and Council Meetings
The Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of Adjustment and Council meetings were held in Council Chambers at 21 Queen Street in Ripley at 7 in the evening.
A Bruce County Planner attended with reports for two minor variance applications to be reviewed at the Committee of Adjustment meeting. A third report about the Zoning By-Law Amendment was presented to be considered by Council.

Women in Carpentry 2.0 is now accepting applications!
Gain life changing experience learning a new skill for free!
With funding through the Skills Development Fund funded in part by the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada, and through partnerships with Fanshawe College, UBC Local 222 Carpenter’s Union and VPI, Women in Carpentry is back for a second round.
