The yard waste depots on Concession 6 E and Havelock St will be closed for the season as of November 8th. Both sites will reopen in the spring.

Update to Lakeshore Collection
Lakeshore Area - Monday November 8th
Leaves are to be bagged in paper bags only and brought to the curb by 7:00 a.m. the day of collection. Also, bags must not weigh more than 11 kg (25 lbs.) and contain leaves only.
Each street will only be done once.
Inclement weather may delay collection to avoid wet and heavy paper bags.
Leaves are accepted at free of charge at the Huron Landfill site year-round. The site is located at 2087 Concession 6 E.

Fall Hydrant Flushing – Lakeshore Area Water System
The hydrants in the Lakeshore Area Water System will be flushed starting Tuesday October 12th, with an expected completion date of Friday November 12th.
During this time you may experience changes in pressure and/or discoloration of water. Residents are encouraged to remove all faucet screens and filters and thoroughly flush their water systems.
