One of our key projects for 2021 was the development of a communications strategy and action plan. We wanted to do an extensive review of how we communicate with our residents and property owners to learn where the gaps are and how we can improve.

The Leaf collection for the Lakeshore area has been delayed until Monday November 8th. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Leaves are to be bagged in paper bags only and brought to the curb by 7:00 a.m. the day of collection. Also, bags must not weigh more than 11 kg (25 lbs.) and contain leaves only.
Each street will only be done once.
Inclement weather may delay collection to avoid wet and heavy paper bags.
Leaves are accepted at free of charge at the Huron Landfill site year-round....

Fall Hydrant Flushing – Lucknow and Ripley Water Systems
The hydrants in the Lucknow Water System will be flushed starting Monday November 15th, with an expected completion date of Friday November 26th. The hydrants in the Ripley Water System will be flushed starting Monday November 22nd, with an expected completed date of Friday November 26th.

The 2021 Ice Cream Trail closed on September 30th. We had 194 people complete the Trail.
New this year, we added mini scavenger hunts in Lucknow, Point Clark and Ripley. We had 32 people complete the Lucknow and Point Clark Mini Scavenger Hunts, and 18 people complete the mini scavenger hunt in Ripley. Several other people participated in the mini scavenger hunts using the Goose Chase App, but did not complete them and therefore were not eligible for prizes.
