New Look for Huron-Kinloss Dollars

Same great program, fresh new look.

For over ten years, the Township has been producing Huron-Kinloss Dollars, a “currency” made for exclusive use with businesses in Huron-Kinloss.

This popular and easy-to-use program encourages recipients of the Dollars to shop locally. Businesses don’t need to sign-up to participate; they simply treat the Dollars as they would regular cash and each Huron-Kinloss Dollar is the same as one Canadian Dollar.

Rehabilitation of Local Bridge Featured in Provincial News

A recent Township of Huron-Kinloss Public Works project has been recognized in an online provincial publication.

Theft is a crime of opportunity, and property crimes within the community are becoming all too common. Between November 4th and 7th there were 14 reported thefts in Huron-Kinloss alone. 

Throughout the month of December, the Township of Huron-Kinloss working in co-operation with the South Bruce O.P.P. will be sharing tips with residents to reduce property crimes.

Temporary Road Closure - Lake Range Drive, Concession 8 to 10

The drainage work on Lake Range Drive that was scheduled to start at the beginning of November was delayed.

Lake Range Drive between Concession 8 and Concession 10 will be closed for drainage work starting tomorrow, December 1st, until a holiday shut down by the contractor on December 24th.

It will close again for a three-week period starting January 3, 2022. This includes a full closure between 724 and 728 Lake Range Drive.
