Women in Carpentry Receives Continued Funding

HURON-KINLOSS, ON: The Township is excited to announce investments of $285,702 and $289,759 to the Women in Carpentry program, supported by Ontario’s Ministry of Immigration, Labour, Training and Skills Development. The program’s success is due to the partnership between the Township of Huron-Kinloss, UBC Local 2222, VPI Employment Services, Fanshawe College and The Adult Learning Centre.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is participating in the Municipal Innovation Council’s pilot project in partnership with Canadian company Food Cycle Science Corporation, which offers an innovative food composting solution in the form of FoodCycler™ units.
