The Township of Huron-Kinloss is working on a Master Plan examining future growth and associated water and wastewater infrastructure needs in the communities of Ripley, Lucknow, and the Lakeshore areas. To ensure Municipal Snow Plow Operators are able to properly clear snow from roads, Huron-Kinloss would like to remind residents there is no parking on municipal roads from November 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023, between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Wood Carvings at Lewis Park Removed Due to Safety Concerns

The wood carvings at Lewis Park in Ripley have been removed due to safety concerns. Due to the age, the carvings became unstable to the point that there was a danger of the carvings falling or injuring a visitor to the park. The carvings were created in 2008 during the Lewis Park re-development. The Huron-Kinloss Community Services staff had the stumps removed and leveled with topsoil and grass seed.
