HURON-KINLOSS, ON: The Grey Bruce Health Unit is hosting a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

Please be aware that this is the same day as the Ripley Fall Fair, please watch for pedestrians and follow the signs.

New Virtual Tour of the Point Clark Lighthouse

We know many of you have been eager to climb to the top of the Point Clark Lighthouse again! Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to open the Point Clark Lighthouse and Lightkeeper's Museum to the public in 2020 or 2021.

Pursuant to Section 295(1), Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, notice is hereby given that the audited financial statements for the year 2020 for the Township of Huron-Kinloss are available on the Township's website www.huronkinloss.com

A copy shall be made available, at no cost to any taxpayer or resident of the municipality upon request to the Treasurer.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

On June 3, 2021 the federal government passed legislation to mark September 30, 2021, as a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  In recognition of this, the Township of Huron-Kinloss will  fly the “Every Child Matters” flag at the community flag pole through September, lowering to half-mast on Thursday, September 30 to acknowledge Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Severe Weather Event Clean-up in Huron-Kinloss

Huron-Kinloss, ON: On Tuesday September 7, 2021, a severe weather system tore through the Township producing heavy rainfall, high winds and hail resulting in downed trees, power outages and minor property damage. No injuries were reported.
