2019 St. John's Ambulance Babysitters Course

Friday, May 31st, 2019 (PA Day)

Registration is now open for the 2019 St. John's Ambulance Babysitters Course.  The course will be held on the May 2019 PA Day on Friday, May 31st, 2019 from 9am-4:30pm.  The cost is $65.00 per babysitter and space in the course is limited.  For more information, please click here or contact the Community Services Department at 519-395-2909 or email

2019 Ripley Wolf Cub Summer Adventure Camp Registration NOW OPEN!

The 2019 Ripley Wolf Cub Summer Adventure Camp Registration will begin Thursday, February 21, 2019!

Registration for the 4 week Ripley Wolf Cub Adventure Camp will open Thursday, February 21, 2019.  

Week 1- July 8th-12th: Spring'ing into Summer Camp  

Week 2- July 15th-19th: Summer Lovin'

Week 3- July 22nd-26th: Fall is a Ball!

Week 4- July 29th-August 2nd: Winter Wildness

Weekly registrations only.  Cost is $145 per week per camper with additional fees for field trips.  We can't wait to welcome back all of the campers this summer in Ripley! 


Huron-Kinloss Summer Science Camps

The Township of Huron-Kinloss with support from the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, is offering two science-based summer camps in 2019. Registration for these camps are now open and Huron-Kinloss residents are eligible to to pay a registration fee of only $100 per participant, per camp! 

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization has provided a funding program for youth with an emphasis on learning initiatives that focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). It is through this funding, that Huron-Kinloss residents are eligible to receive a discounted registration fee for these summer camps.

Discovery Western Science Camp 2019

Discovery Western Science Camp is returning in 2019! This camp was a huge success last summer, offering students hands-on experience in robotics, LEGO Robolab, programming, scientific demonstrations and swimming! Discovery Western Camp is organized by Western Engineering Outreach from the University of Western Ontario and runs from August 19-23 for students entering Grades 4-6 at the Lucknow and District Sports Complex.

GEMS Ripley Summer Camp 2019

GEMS Learning Institute is offering a GEMS Ripley Summer Day Camp from August 12-16 for students entering Grades 1-3. This camp will give students an opportunity for hands-on learning in STEM activities, programming, robotics and science experiments. This camp will be held at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

Lucknow Youth Sports Camp 

In 2019 the Youth Summer Sports Camp was developed by the Lucknow Recreation Department.  The sports camp is for boys and girls, aged 5 to 12 years old.  There is exposure to multiple sports with an emphasis on fun and skill development.  The sports and activities include Ball Hockey, Lacrosse, Pickleball, Baseball, Soccer, Badminton, Beach Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, and Aquatic sports.

The Youth Summer Sports Camp has 8 different weeks of camps during the summer months of July and August.  Registration is for a week (Monday to Friday) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.  Family rates are available for registrations of 3 or more children.
