Huron-Kinloss Nuclear Waste Management Symposium

The Huron-Kinloss Nuclear Waste Management Symposium will provide an opportunity for Huron-Kinloss residents to learn more about Canada's plan for the long-term management of used nuclear fuel and the next steps going forward. Engineers, scientists and community engagement advisors from Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) will provided presentations on a variety of topics that include Bruce County Geology, Transportation, Safety and aSiting Update.

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.

Point Clark Lighthouse Children's Program

Again this year, thanks to Bruce Power, the drop-in children’s program on Friday afternoons is free of charge. Each week will focus on educating and increasing youth knowledge of the Lake Huron, the shoreline and the importance of protecting it and will include crafts, activities and a snack. The program is geared to kids age 5-10, parents are invited to stay with the group or leave a contact number in case of emergency.
