Telehealth Ontario is a free 24 hours 7 days a week, confidential telephone service you can call to get health advice or general health information from a Registered Nurse.
Based on the assessment, the Registered Nurse can:
• advise self care
• recommend a visit to a health practitioner or health service provider
• provide phone numbers of community resources nearest you (walk-in clinics, public health units, etc).
Service is provided in English and French with translation support for other languages. You do not need to provide your health insurance number. A call to Telehealth Ontario does not replace 911 - that's always the first number you should call in emergency situations.
We are a phone service only. For details see website. No physical address , ON CA
Are you caring for an adult with a long term health condition? The goal of VON’s Caregiver Support Circle is to support informal caregivers throughout Grey-Bruce by providing resources and education, individual and group support and community resources to help you.
VON’s Supportive Care volunteers are special people who offer social and emotional support to individuals and families living with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness in Grey-Bruce. Support is available in a client’s home, long term care home, hospital or residential hospice (Owen Sound).
Bereavement Support Group sessions are offered at different times of the year in various places in Grey Bruce. This is an opportunity to share feelings or just to listen and not be alone.
