Township of Huron-Kinloss residents are supported by the Bluewater District School Board, part of the publicly funded education system in Ontario. There are also Catholic elementary and secondary school options available in neighbouring communities. 

The Ripley Huron Community School is located in downtown Ripley, along County Rd. 6. The school accommodates grades JK-8 and partners with the Ripley Family Y to offer a before and after school care program. Students residing in Ripley and along the lakeshore also have the option to attend St. Anthony's Catholic school in Kincardine or Ecole Elgin Market, a public french immersion school in Kincardine. 

The Lucknow Central Public School is located in the heart of Lucknow and accomodates grades JK-8. 

High school age students in Ripley have the option to attend Kincardine District Secondary School (public), Walkerton District Community School or Sacred Heart High School (Catholic) in Walkerton. High school age kids living in Lucknow have the option to attend F.E. Madill Secondary School (public) in Wingham, Walkerton District Community School (public) or Sacred Heart High School (Catholic) in Walkerton. 

In addition, The Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence provides Grey and Bruce Counties with the opportunity to choose a French-language Catholic school community for education. Located in Owen Sound, elementary and secondary school students are bussed to École catholique Saint Dominique-Savio to attend. It is not a private school and no tuition is required over normal taxes.
