Continued Skills Development and Workplace Training Funding Now Available

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is now accepting applications to support Continued Skills Development and Workplace Training opportunities for Huron-Kinloss residents. 

Huron-Kinloss residents who continue their education by taking courses (in-class or online), programs or training may be eligible to receive funding support of 50% of the course registration fee up to a max of $1,000. This can include course materials such as books, tools, etc. Applicants must be a resident of Township of Huron-Kinloss.
Huron-Kinloss businesses who provide workplace training for employees may be eligible to receive funding up to 50% of the course registration fee up to $500 per employee. Courses must be relevant to the applicant’s workplace.

Both funding opportunities will require pre-approval of the application and proof that you have completed and paid for the program. Limited funds are available.

This program is funded by the Nuclear Waste Management Organization to support education and skills training for residents of areas actively participating in Canada’s plan as a way to contribute to community well-being and capacity.
