Grey-Bruce Health Unit Moves To Yellow “Protect” Level
On November 23, 2020, the Grey-Bruce Health Unit moved to Yellow “Protect” Level as outlined in the Provincial COVID Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open.
The Yellow Level indicates the Grey-Bruce Health Unit has seen a weekly incidence rate of 10 to 24.9 people per 100,000, testing positive.
The Measures for Yellow “Protect” Level includes:

  • Social gathering limits of 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors
  • Organized public events limited to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors
  • Religious services or ceremonies limited to 30% of the room capacity indoors and 100 people outdoors. 
  • Restaurants and bars to limit 6 people seated together indoors; maintain 2 metre distance; cannot sell liquor after 11 p.m.
  • Enhanced enforcement – more inspectors monitoring social and public gatherings; enhanced fines.

Please continue to:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Watch your distance (ideally 2 m)
  • Wear your face covering correctly
  • Stay home if you are sick
