Huron-Kinloss announced as a Finalist for EDCO's Rural Excellence Award

The Economic Developer’s Council of Ontario (EDCO) hosts an annual conference and awards ceremony in February. This year, the conference and awards ceremony is being held from February 7th- 9th, 2023 in Toronto. They provide awards to companies, organizations and municipalities for the following:

The Township of Huron-Kinloss received a congratulatory email in early December for our Economic Development Team being chosen as a finalist for the Rural Excellence Award.  

The Rural Excellence Award aims to recognize a rural community (with a population under 10,000) that is doing extraordinary work in economic development with outstanding results.  The President’s Dinner and Awards Ceremony held at the Marriott Downtown at CF Eaton Centre will be attended by Huron-Kinloss Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Michelle Goetz, and Business and Economic Officer, Amy Irwin.
