Huron-Kinloss Mayor Thanks Residents; Municipal Services Update

Mayor Mitch Twolan sends out a big thank you to the residents of Huron-Kinloss for their efforts in following medical professional’s guidance, that permitted Grey-Bruce to move into the “Yellow Protect” zone of the provincial COVID-19 response framework on February 16, 2021. 

“This doesn’t mean we are out of the woods yet,” says Twolan. “We still need to be vigilant, wash our hands and maintain physically distancing, we will get through this together.”

Through the pandemic the Township of Huron-Kinloss has made adjustments to the way we serve the public to help protect the safety of our residents and staff.  With the new provincial measures in place the Township will continue to offer all services; however, the Municipal Office, located at 21 Queen St., Ripley and The Hub, located at 46 Queen Street will remain open by appointment only until further notice.  To book an appointment with staff, please call 519-395-3735 or email info@huronkinloss.com. The Ripley-Huron Community Centre will be open to registered users, following the Facility Covid-19 Safety Plan for operations. All parks and trails are open to the public For more information please contact myoung@huronkinloss.com or 519-395-2909.

Garbage and recycling pick-up will continue as scheduled.  The Huron-Landfill remains open Tuesday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
