Huron-Kinloss Releases Proof of Identification and Vaccination Document

HURON-KINLOSS, ON: The Township of Huron-Kinloss is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable recreation experience for all participants, guests and staff visiting our facilities. The Township of Huron-Kinloss must be consistent with Provincial Regulations as issued. The following has been developed to ensure compliance with all required Provincial Regulations for entry and access to the noted facilities.

The public is expected to follow provincial protocols under the Ontario Reopening Plan.

Commencing Wednesday September 22, 2021, patrons of Township facilities will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access certain public settings and facilities, this includes community centre facilities used for sports and fitness activities, personal fitness training, such as gyms, fitness and recreational facilities, meetings and event facilities.

Vaccination certificates may be obtained by visiting and can be printed at your local library.

Attached to this release, is the document that outlines the procedure for verifying proof of identification and proof of being fully vaccinated for members of the public wishing to visit or participate in indoor programs at any of the following facilities:

  • Ripley-Huron Community Centre
  • Lucknow and District Sports Complex
  • Lucknow Town Hall
  • Point Clark Community Centre

The guidelines and procedures laid out in this document are subject to change in accordance to Ontario Regulation 645/21 under the Reopening Ontario (A flexible Response to Covid-19) Act, 2020, and local public health recommendations.

All other public health and workplace safety measures in O. Reg. 364/20 remain in effect (including but not limited to capacity limits, patron screening, masking, physical distancing and collection of patron contact information where required)
