Severe Weather Event Clean-up in Huron-Kinloss
Huron-Kinloss, ON: On Tuesday September 7, 2021, a severe weather system tore through the Township producing heavy rainfall, high winds and hail resulting in downed trees, power outages and minor property damage. No injuries were reported.
“A huge shout out to our First Responders, Hydro Crews and Public Works Staff, for continuing to serve our residents through these challenging times” said Mayor Twolan, “as we work to clean up from this event, we ask for your patience” added Twolan
Public Works is working to clear downed trees and debris from public lands and roadways. Clean-up should be complete by the end of the week. The Huron Landfill operating hours are Tuesdays 10:00am - 4:00pm, Fridays 10:00am - 4:00pm, Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm
Yard Waste Depots are open 24-hours/day Concession 6 East, (just east of the Huron Landfill) and 907 Havelock St, Lucknow (beside the entrance to the Lucknow Soccer Fields)
