Ripley Winter Carnival 

Costume Skate sponsored by Ripley & District Lions Club and the Ripley Agricultural Society.

Friday, Feb. 13 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Help us kick off the Ripley Winter Carnival with the annual Costume Skate! Who doesn't love another chance to wear your favourite costume, especially on Valentine's Day? Dress to impress and you might just win a prize provided the Ripley Agricultural Society!

Join the fun and excitement at the annual family-favourite event, the Ripley Winter Carnival!  Embrace the chill of winter and celebrate coming together with the costume skate, pancake breakfast, ice painting, skills competition, wagon rides, euchre tournaments and more. There is truly something for everyone at the Ripley Winter Carnival!

All events take place at the Ripley Huron Community Centre, 17 Queen Street, Ripley. This event is organized by the Huron-Kinloss Community Services Department and supported by our generous community sponsors.

Meet some of Ripley's Firefighters, take a tour of a truck and learn some fire safety thanks to the Ripley-Huron Fire Department at the Ripley Winter Carnival!

Enjoy a wintery horse-drawn wagon ride around beside the Ripley-Huron Community Centre, thanks to Jim and Fran Farrell of Farhope Farms near Ripley.

The Bruce County Library Bookmobile is a mobile library designed to bring the joy of reading and learning directly to communities in Bruce County. Stop by and see the collection of the books, educational materials and tech kits!

Note: Parent Supervision is Required on the ice surface. NO SKATES on the ice during ice painting.

Join us at the Lucknow District Sports Complex for free public skating. Open to all ages and skill levels.

Lucknow Presbyterian Church invites the community to join them for a traditional Shrove Tuesday meal! All are welcome to come out for food and fellowship.

Enjoy pancakes, farmer’s sausage from Green’s Meat Market, maple syrup, apple sauce, pie, fruit and beverage.

The Ripley and District Horticultural Society invite the community to enjoy some winter "comfort food" of chili, soup, dessert and hot drinks in the social room of the Ripley-Huron Community Centre. Bring a friend and join us for lunch by donation to RDHS. Feel free to stay for the meeting at 1:30 pm featuring guest speaker Angela Devitt of Stone Bridge Flour.
