The Point Clark Lighthouse is Open for 2019!
Open Daily from June 28th to September 2nd.
There is no better view of the Lake Huron shoreline than from atop the Lighthouse! The Point Clark Lighthouse was built in the 1850s and is a National Historic Site. It was one of the first ‘imperial towers’ to flash its light. The Lighthouse will open for the season on Friday, June 28th, just in time for the Point Clark Canada Day Fireworks Spectacular taking place on Sunday, June 30th!
The Lighthouse Museum, Gift Shop and Information Centre will be open daily from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. with the last tour departing at 5:00p.m. We offer special Sunset Tours by reservation, which must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Admission rates are as follows:
Children (12 and under): $5.00
Sunset: $10.00 per person
Group Tours (minimum 10 people): $5.00 per person
This year our Children’s Program is FREE thanks to sponsorship from Bruce Power! This is a drop-in program on Fridays from 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m and includes crafts, activities and a snack. The Program is geared to kids age 5-10 and parents are invited to stay with the group or leave a contact number in case of emergency. Each week will have a different theme, so your kids can have a new experience every Friday.
Come tour this historic Lighthouse and while you are here be sure to visit Point Clark’s beautiful beaches, parks and trails! For more information, please visit www.huronkinloss.com/point_clark_lighthouse.cfm
