Congratulations Community Well-Being Recipients!

$100,350 in funding was awarded to local community groups

The Community Well-Being Program committee is excited to announce the successful projects being supported by the 2019 Community Well-Being Program through the Township of Huron-Kinloss. The 2019 program accepted applications for projects that focus on arts, culture & heritage; sports & recreation; social & health; environmental & other. The program received 22 eligible applications from various service clubs and organizations throughout the Township of Huron-Kinloss. The total financial request from these 22 applications was just over $154,000. The program committee, made up of Mary Rose Walden, CAO; Emily Dance, Clerk; Jodi MacArthur, Treasurer; Don Murray, Deputy Mayor; & Lillian Abbott, Councillor, reviewed the applications on June 6th 2019 and awarded $100,350 in grants to local community groups.
