Environmental Assessment for the Finlay Street Extension

The Township of Huron-Kinloss conducted a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to investigate the extension of road and municipal services within the unopened road allowance of Finlay Street in Ripley. The Finlay Street road allowance is located north of Malcolm Street, between Huron Street and William Street. From the evaluation, it was determined the preferred alternative is extending municipal road, water, wastewater and stormwater services within the Finlay Street road allowance. The services will be extended from the existing service connections at Huron Street and connected to existing infrastructure at Blake and William Streets.

The Environmental Screening Report is now available for public review and comment. The Report will be available for public review at the Huron-Kinloss Municipal Office (21 Queen Street, Ripley) and on the municipal website ( For further information on this project or to submit comments, please contact B.
