COVID-19 Update: Facility closures for Pandemic Relief and Disinfecting

COVID-19 UPDATE: Municipal Office Closed March 20, 2020 for Pandemic Relief Day

Huron-Kinloss ON: The Township of Huron-Kinloss Municipal Office, located at 21 Queen St. Ripley, will be CLOSED on March 20th, 2020 for a Pandemic Relief Day. This means all facilities, and municipal functions/departments, except the Huron Landfill and emergency services, will be closed for the day.  This decision will allow all work spaces time to become a less sustainable environment for germs.

The Township has confirmed the Emergency Hotline number is working. 
Please call 1-866-299-5199 if you need emergency assistance regarding municipal issues. 

The Township Office will remain closed to the PUBLIC from March 23rd, 2020 to April 5th, 2020. Staff will be available by phone and e-mail during normal business hours (8:30AM – 4:30PM, Monday to Friday) to ensure continuity of municipal business operations. Taxes and other municipal payments can be paid by mail (PO Box 130, Ripley ON, N0G 2R0), through the drop-box at the Municipal Office, or by telephone/online banking. Payments will continue to be processed. For all other tax inquiries, questions about how to make payments, or concerns please contact the Treasury Department at 519-395-3735.

The Township currently has several tender opportunities that are available for bidding.  An addendum will be issued for each tender with details on how the tender process will be conducted.  To view tender addenda, please visit the Township website.

As of Saturday March 21st, 2020, only account holders will be permitted to access the Huron Landfill until further notice.  No monetary transactions will be permitted at the site.  To set up an account, visit the Huron-Kinloss Landfill webpage, download and complete the credit application form, and email the completed form to info@huronkinloss.com. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing. These limitations have been implemented to encourage social distancing and to keep staff and the public safe.
Members of the public are reminded to be diligent in their hygiene.
