Huron-Kinloss Declares State of Emergency
Huron-Kinloss ON: The Township of Huron-Kinloss has declared a State of Emergency in order to take necessary actions to protect residents.
Declarations of emergency are made under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act when an emergency requires immediate action to prevent, reduce or mitigate a danger of major proportions.
“The protection of our residents is one of our top concerns in our fight against COVID-19,” said Mayor Mitch Twolan. “I am urging everyone to please practice physical and social distancing and to self-isolate. This is how we can support the Grey-Bruce Health Unit to contain the number of COVID-19 cases.”
