Township of Huron-Kinloss Closes All Municipal Outdoor Playground Structures

Huron-Kinloss, ON: Due to the ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19, the Township of Huron-Kinloss has closed all municipally owned playground structures until further notice.

This decision was made to protect the health and safety of the public as the COVID-19 virus can survive outdoors in current weather conditions. Signs will be posted at each structure.

In order to access the Huron Landfill site, users MUST have an account set-up with the Township of Huron-Kinloss. This also includes patrons needing to dispose of items that would not require payment such as clean burnable brush, white goods, eWaste, tires, scrap steel, etc.

We strongly encourage all residents to use curb side pick-up and only attend the site when absolutely necessary.  We want to support social distancing and avoid unnecessary contact with staff and the public.

No monetary transactions will be permitted at the site. Regular curb side garbage pick-up will continue until further notice.

The opening of the Kinloss Landfill Site, originally scheduled for April 4th, 2020 has been delayed until further notice.
