Notice of Electronic Council Meetings April 15, 2020
INTENTION TO HOLD A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL
AND REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
APRIL 15, 2020
TAKE NOTICE THAT pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 238 (2) and By-Law 2019-155 of the Township of Huron-Kinloss every municipality and local board shall pass a procedural by-law for governing the calling, place and proceedings of meetings;
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 238 (3.4) a municipality may hold a special meeting to amend an applicable procedure by-law for the purposes of allowing electronic participation under emergencies;
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT it is the intention of the Council of the Township of Huron-Kinloss to hold the following:
Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 5:45 p.m.
To consider an amendment to the Procedural By-Law to include electronic participation at all meetings and to include electronic participation during an “emergency”.
Regular Council Meeting Wednesday April 15, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
Followed by the Regular Scheduled
Council (Planning) Meeting Wednesday April 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Township of Huron-Kinloss Municipal Office is currently closed to the Public.
We encourage the public to view the agenda prior to the meeting on www.huronkinloss.com and send any questions or concerns you have to the Clerk firstname.lastname@example.org prior to April 15, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
