Nuclear Waste Management Organization Open House

Meet the NWMO and Learn More About Preliminary Assessment Studies.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss has invited the Nuclear Waste Managment Organization to host an Open House. Drop by, meet NWMO staff, ask questions, and learn more about Canada's plan for the long-term management of used fuel and the process to identify a safe site to host a deep geological repository.

The NWMO will also introduce a new transportation exhibit which provides a hands-on opportunity to learn more about plans for the safe and secure transportation of Canada's used nuclear fuel.

The Open House will be held at:

Thursday, June 5, 2014 - 1:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. (Transportation display only)

Friday, June 6, 2014  - 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.

Saturday, June 7, 2014 - 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.
