Work Being Done at Attawandaron Park in Point Clark

Attawandaron Park is undergoing a major facelift this summer of 2016. New Playground equipment is being installed to update the Park. The playground equipment will be installed in August or September.

Unfortunately the park contains dozens of very large Ash trees, and the Township has decided to remove the Ash trees due to the Emerald Ash borer in the neighbourhood. The Township felt that it prudent to remove these trees now in the event that damaged trees due to the Emerald Ash borer could fall onto the new equipment being installed.

I would like to thank everyone in the neighbourhood for their patience as the park is being re-developed.
