Holiday Shopping Pass

The Holiday Shopping Pass promotion is back for 2017

Would your business like to participate in the 2017 Huron-Kinloss Holiday Shopping Pass promotion?

If you are not familiar with the promotion, this is how it works:

Holiday Shopping Passes will be distributed throughout the Township and made available online to download off the Township website. Beginning November 1st, shoppers can pick-up a Shopping Pass and each time they make a purchase at a participating business between November 1st and December 24th, the value will be punched on the card in $10 increments. Once a total of $150 has been spent, customers fill out their contact information on the card and submit it to the Township for a chance to win one of three $150 shopping sprees at participating businesses.

Please call or e-mail Michelle by September 30th to participate. There is no cost to participate. The Township will supply the Holiday Shopping Passes and punches to mark the cards. This promotion will be aggressively marketed through print, social media, and radio ads. A sample of last year’s pass is on the reverse side.

Contact Michelle at 519-395-3735 or email for more information and to see if your business qualifies for the promotion.

Downtown Revitalization Committees

Do you want to make a change in your community?

The Township is looking for volunteers to sit on community specific committees to assist with the development of an action-plan for community projects.

Bruce County's Spruce the Bruce program provides funding for destination infrastructure projects, streetscape, community signage, marketing initiatives and more for communities located throughout the County.

The past revitalization committees have accomplished so much for their respective communities and we want to keep the momentum going.

We are looking for community champions that want to make a difference in Lucknow or Ripley (their respective community). We will be hosting a brainstorming session in Lucknow for the Lucknow Revitalization projects and a brainstorming session in Ripley for the Ripley Revitalization projects in October 2017. Date, time and place to be determined based on interest from each community.

If you are interested in attending the session or would like to learn more about the committees please contact Michelle at 519-395-3735 or
