2025 Spring Hydrant Flushing Dates

Spring Hydrant Flushing 

Spring hydrant flushing will be carried out by the Township of Huron‑Kinloss according to the schedule below:

• Lucknow, Ripley, Whitechurch – April 22 – 30, 2026
• Lakeshore Area Water System – April 30 – May 15, 2026

During this time, you may experience changes in pressure and/or discoloration of water. If this happens, we recommend removing all faucet screens and filters and thoroughly flushing the water system in the building by running cold water only for up to 20 minutes or until clear.

We also recommend that you avoid washing whites between 8:00 am-4:30 pm due to possible staining.
