July 11th, 2022 - Committee of Adjustment and Council Meetings
The Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of Adjustment and Council meetings were held in Council Chambers at 21 Queen Street in Ripley at 7 in the evening.
A Bruce County Planner attended with reports for two minor variance applications to be reviewed at the Committee of Adjustment meeting. A third report about the Zoning By-Law Amendment was presented to be considered by Council.
Cousins Minor Variance
The application looked to adjust side and rear yard setbacks to allow for the construction of a detached garage at 916 Victoria Street.
McNaughton Minor Variance
A second application sought to adjust the front yard setback for construction of a detached garage at 822 Annie’s Crescent.
The Committee of Adjustment supported both requests.
Griffin Zoning By-Law Amendment
The request for a Zoning By-Law Amendment will permit the property owner to host private events with catering services. The property is located north-west of Ripley on Sideroad 25.
Council supported the request for Amendment and staff has been directed to prepare the by-law for the July 18th Council meeting.
Next Meeting
The next Township of Huron-Kinloss Council meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11th, 2022. This will be held in-person within Council Chambers at the Municipal Office, 21 Queen Street in Ripley.
