Wood Carvings at Lewis Park Removed Due to Safety Concerns
The wood carvings at Lewis Park in Ripley have been removed due to safety concerns. Due to the age, the carvings became unstable to the point that there was a danger of the carvings falling or injuring a visitor to the park. The carvings were created in 2008 during the Lewis Park re-development. The Huron-Kinloss Community Services staff had the stumps removed and leveled with topsoil and grass seed.
