Yard Waste Depots Opening April 18

The Township of Huron‑Kinloss’ Yard Waste Depots in Ripley and Lucknow will open for the season on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Depot Locations

• Huron Yard Waste Depot
  Just east of the Huron Landfill
  2083 Concession 6 E.

• Lucknow Yard Waste Depot
  907 Havelock St., just south of the soccer fields

Accepted Materials

The depots are for:

• Grass, leaves, and garden clippings in paper bags
• Brush
• Small branches under 6 inches in diameter

Large loads of loose leaves should be taken to the landfill on days that it is open.

Not Accepted

• Logs or stumps
• Construction material
• Household garbage

Please note that the depots may temporarily close during extremely wet or muddy conditions to allow the sites to dry. Any temporary closures will be communicated as needed.
