UPDATE - DECEMBER 30, 9:15 AM: Township plows continue to service roads. Roads are passable but drifting is expected to worsen throughout the day. Kincardine-Kinloss Boundary Rd has been closed from South Line to Highway 9 due to drifting. Avoid travel if possible.
UPDATE - DECEMBER 29, 12:53 PM: Township plows are currently in service. Roads are in fair condition with poor visibility. We expect snow drifting on Township roads to develop tonight. Travel should be avoided if possible.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss has declared a Significant Weather Event in accordance with Ontario Regulation 366/18. All roads and sidewalks maintained by the Township will be in a “state of repair” until further notice.
This declaration is not a notice of a reduced level of service or road closure. It is to notify drivers and pedestrians to use an appropriate level of caution when travelling during this event. Township staff are continuing to work diligently to ensure public safety. Your co-operation is appreciated.
