    Huron-Kinloss Council authorizes the execution of NWMO Near-Term Investment Funding Agreement
    Huron-Kinloss, ON: The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) is in the process of selecting potential siting communities to host the project for the Deep Geological Repository (DGR).

    The Huron-Kinloss Economic Development Team was awarded EDCO's Rural Excellence Award as part of the Economic Developer's Council of Ontario conference on February 9th, 2023.     The Township of Huron-Kinloss Council and staff are deeply saddened with the passing of Murray Thompson, a former Reeve of the Township of Huron. The Township offers sincere condolences to Thompson’s family and friends during this time.
