In alignment with our Communications Strategy vision, this project provided an opportunity for the community, Council and staff to feel well informed and engaged.

Due to critical staffing shortages, SBGHC will be closing the Kincardine hospital emergency department (ED) overnight on Friday, September 23rd.
The Kincardine ED will be closed from:
- 5:00pm on Friday, September 23rd to 7:00 on Saturday, September 24th
All efforts to find staffing for the emergency department have been undertaken without success.
Ambulance by-pass will undertaken to divert patients to the nearest open ED.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911 to be taken...

Bruce County Planners attended the meeting to present two separate planning applications in Huron-Kinloss:
The application looked to sever a parcel of land from 206 Bruce Rd 86 and add it to an adjacent parcel at 7 Whitechurch St. This will facilitate a lot line adjustment correcting a historical encroachment of a shed on the subject parcel.
