  • Township of Huron-Kinloss 2024 Community Well-Being Program Recipients

    The Township of Huron-Kinloss received 24 applications from organizations interested in receiving 2024 Community Well-Being Program (CWBP) funding. The CWBP provides funding for projects and services that will have a positive impact on the community and are run by local organizations within the Township.

  • Notice of Pesticide Use - May 2024

    The Township of Huron-Kinloss intends to control Invasive Species Phragmites Australis, poison Ivy, and Hogweed along the lakeshore and throughout municipally managed or owned property in the Township of Huron-Kinloss. 

  • 2024 Spring Hydrant Flushing - Ripley and Lucknow Water Systems

    Ripley Water System – May 21 to 24, 2024
    Lucknow Water System – May 27 to June 7, 2024

  • Military Training Exercise in Bruce & Huron Counties May 3rd to 5th, 2024

    Canadian Armed Forces Canadian 31 Brigade Group will be conducting training in Huron and Bruce Counties during their upcoming Exercise Trillium Venture, occurring the weekend of May 3rd to May 5th, 2024.

  • Yard Waste Depots Re-Open April 19, 2024

    As of April 19th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. the two Huron-Kinloss Yard Waste Depots will re-open. The yard waste depots are located at: Huron Yard Waste Depot: just east of the landfill at 2083 Concession 6 E. and Lucknow Yard Waste Depot: 907 Havelock St. just south of the soccer fields.

  • Huron-Kinloss 2024 Tree Sale

    The Township of Huron-Kinloss is holding its 2024 Spring Maple Tree Sale.  The trees will be 3-5’ high potted saplings available in Native Red Maple and Sugar Maple. Trees will be sold for $45/tree including tax, limited quantities are available.

  • Morning Break with the Mayor returning for 2024

    After a successful series of engagement events in 2023, the Township is excited to reintroduce "Morning Break with the Mayor".

  • Empowering Women: Successful Completion of Women in Construction Program

    HURON-KINLOSS, ON: Another successful round of Women in Construction has come to a close, exceeding expectations and targets. This round ended with a shed build for the Township of Huron-Kinloss and an emPOWERing electrical workshop.
