Expression of Interest: Integrity Commissioner Services
The Township of Huron-Kinloss is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of Integrity Commissioner Services. The Township’s current Integrity Commissioner has provided notice that they will not be providing services past January 2027, as outlined in Report CLK-2026-16.
An Integrity Commissioner plays a critical role in:
- Advising members of Council on their obligations under the Code of Conduct
- Administering and adjudicating complaints in a fair and legally sound manner,
- Supporting Council through transitions in provincial legislation and best practices.
The Integrity Commissioner is appointed by Council. To support decision making in this appointment, the Township is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified persons or firms through LS-EOI-2026 by June 26, 2026.
A timely appointment of the Integrity Commissioner ensures that Council is equipped to respond effectively, lawfully and to meet legislative requirements for openness and transparency.
