Huron-Kinloss Fire & Emergency Services invites residents to a free FireSmart™ Learning Session on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Point Clark Lighthouse.
Drop in anytime to learn simple, practical ways to reduce fire risks around your home, improve emergency preparedness, and connect with local community safety partners.
You'll have the opportunity to speak with members of Huron-Kinloss Fire & Emergency Services, ask questions about your property, and learn from representatives of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Whether you own a home, cottage, or waterfront property, this event offers practical information to help keep you, your family, and your community safe.

In addition to FireSmart™ information, you'll have the opportunity to connect with local organizations dedicated to keeping our community safe.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) representatives will be available to answer general questions about community safety and share crime prevention and everyday safety information.
Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary volunteers will provide boating safety information, shoreline awareness tips, and guidance on preparing for emergencies on the water.
