Administrative Coordinator - 24 Month Contract

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is recruiting for an Administrative Coordinator. This position, under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, is responsible for the coordination of multiple Township projects and the coordination of all aspects of the Township's participation in the Adaptive Phase Management Site selection process.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Project Management skill and use of software
  • Highly organized
  • Knowledge and understanding of NWMO and sustainability

Seasonal Parks Operator - Seasonal Contract 

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is recruiting for a Seasonal Parks Operator. This position will maintain the parks, greenspaces and facilities in a clean and safe manner. This contract runs from April to October with flexible time off during the months of July and August.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintenance type positions
  • Experience operating zero turn lawn mowers and tractors
  • Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude to perform preventative/routine maintenance
  • Ability to deal with public.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
