Land Division (severing a new lot from an existing lot, adding land to an existing lot, easements, mortgages or leases in excess of 21 years)
Determining whether a particular use conforms with the provisions of the zoning by-law where the uses of land, buildings or structures permitted in the by-law are defined in general terms
The County of Bruce Planning Department is responsible for the preparation of the planning reports and recommendations to the Committee for these applications.
The seven members of Council have been appointed to the Committee of Adjustment and meet as required monthly in conjunction with the Council Meeting (Planning Applications) scheduled on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
