Council Highlights September 12th, 2022
Bruce County Planners attended the meeting to present two separate planning applications in Huron-Kinloss:
The application looked to sever a parcel of land from 206 Bruce Rd 86 and add it to an adjacent parcel at 7 Whitechurch St. This will facilitate a lot line adjustment correcting a historical encroachment of a shed on the subject parcel.
This application asked to sever a residential lot to facilitate an existing semi-detached building such that each half of the building is on an independent lot of record.
Both applications were supported by Council and staff has been directed to prepare the by-laws for the September 19th Council meeting.
Bruce County Planner Monica Walker-Bolton presented a Planning Report regarding the Multi-Municipal Wind Turbine Working Group recommending Setbacks for Wind Turbines.
Proposed Bell Mobility Tower
Bell Mobility presented to Council regarding a proposed location of a new telecommunications installation at the Point Clark Community Centre.
The next Township of Huron-Kinloss Council meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19th, 2022 in Council Chambers at the Municipal Office, 21 Queen Street in Ripley.
