Township of Huron-Kinloss Flags at Half-Mast in Recognition of former Reeve of the Township of Huron

HURON-KINLOSS, ON: The Township of Huron-Kinloss Council and Staff are deeply saddened with the passing of Michael Snobelen, a former Reeve of the Township of Huron (1976 to 1980) and member of Bruce County Council (1979-1980).  The Township offers sincere condolences to Snobelen’s family and friends during this time.

Mayor Don Murray is grateful for the service and dedication of Snobelen as a member of the Huron-Kinloss community. “It has been an honor to know Mike, not only because of the outstanding businessman he was but also because he always made time for people. His family's commitment to the community has been equally remarkable, making a positive impact across the province,” stated Mayor Don Murray.

As per the Township of Huron-Kinloss Municipal Flag Protocol By-Law 2016-122, the Township of Huron-Kinloss Municipal Canadian Flags will be flown at half-mast to honour Michael Snobelen and his service to the community of Huron-Kinloss.
