The traditional Ripley-Huron Community School's Christmas Turkey Dinner is Monday, December 16.

Order lunch for you and your team to support the Grade 8 graduation trip!

St. John Ambulance Home Alone Safety Course is for anyone over 10 years that will be spending short periods of time home alone. Participants must be 10 years old by January 2, 2025

• Thursday, January 2, 2025
• 9:00am to 4:30pm
• Ripley-Huron Community Centre
• Cost is $80/participant

Course content includes:
Phone calls and visitors
Recognizing hazards
Following home safety procedures
First aid basics
Healthy eating
Fire safety
Calling 911

Patrons can expect a collection of books, DVDs, and educational materials, including tech kits. The Bookmobile is also outfitted with a free Wi-Fi hub. The Bookmobile staff are dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space and assisting patrons of all ages. 

The Huron Fringe Field Naturalists welcome visitors and new members to the first meeting of the new season, Tuesday, September 24th at 7 pm at the Point Clark Community Centre.

Meetings are 4th Tuesday of the month in September-November, then again February to June at the Point Clark Community Centre. 

Includes social time at 7 PM followed by reports and guest speaker at 7:20PM. 

Membership is $25/year. 

Offering schedule of outdoor events, in every season, including hikes, bird watches, tours of area gardens and farms and a yearly exploration of the Bruce Peninsula.
