    Cards Games with Huron Lakeshore Friendship Club 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    Join the fun with the Huron Lakeshore Friendship Club's weekly card games!

    Thursdays from 1-4pm at the Point Clark Community Centre

    The Huron Lakeshore Friendship Club is a local group of adults over the age of 50, who gather at the Point Clark Community Centre and participate in weekly activities. The Club has executive, who have monthly meetings to plan and coordinate events, activities and community events. New members are always welcome! The annual Membership Fee is $10. Executive Meetings are held the first Thursday each month. Potluck lunch for all members is the last Thursday of the month.

    Aside from weekly activities, the Club has a Pancake Brunch, Harvest Dinner and Christmas Dinner for Club Members and a community Craft and Bake sale each fall!

    Lighthouse Children's Program: Hold Your Horses! 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

    Join us for the Point Clark Lighthouse Children's Program!

    This week we'll be doing more games and crafts to learn more about the importance of horses in Point Clark and their role in builiding the lighthouse!

    Ages 5-12 are welcome at 529 Lighthouse Rd. Point Clark from 10:30am-12pm for crafts, games and snacks. This event is sponsored by Bruce Power and no registration is required.

    Ripley Legion Burger Night 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

    Starting in May and ending in October, the Legion hosts a Burger Night on Friday's, beginning at 5 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m.

    Burgers are take out or eat in.

    Huron Shores Hospice - Butterfly Release 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    You are invited to join Huron Shores Hospice on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Tiverton Walk of Memories, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., for music, a ceremony, and refreshments as we remember, together, your loved one.

    Huron Shores Hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care, grief support, and advance care planning to residents of Huron-Kinloss and surrounding communities. This annual Butterfly Release is a fundraiser that helps ensure these services continue to be available to local individuals and families.

    As part of this special afternoon, we will gather for our annual Butterfly Release. Butterflies are a beautiful symbol of love, hope, and remembrance. Together, we will release butterflies in honour of those who continue to hold a special place in our hearts.

    Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, we welcome you to share this meaningful moment with family, friends, and our community.
