Property Taxes

Property taxes help fund the services you rely on every day, including roads, emergency services, recreation, and more. Tax rates are set each year by Council as part of the municipal budget process.

Estimate Your Property Taxes

Want to plan ahead? Use our online tool to calculate an annual estimate of your property taxes.

Before you start: You will need your most recent property assessment value, which is determined by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC).

The calculator tool uses Council-approved local tax rates and the education tax rates established by the Province of Ontario. The amounts shown are estimates only. Final tax amounts are mailed out to residents and may vary from the figures illustrated by this tool.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss cannot be held responsible for any legal liability arising from the calculator's use, as it is an estimator only.
